The Bill (Reg. No.5475) directed by V. M. Lytvyn and M.I. Derkach envisages the amendments to certain number of Laws: "On Value-Added Tax", "On Enterprise Income Taxation", "On Land Lease" etc. In particular amendments it suggests renewing of the main norms of the Law "On State Assistance of the Ship Building Industry in Ukraine" that is do not charge entrance duty and release from the paying off value-added tax for the operations on importing of materials and equipment used for the building or repair of ship vessels etc.
The Committee members pointed out the attention on the fact that "lack of indicated factors may lead to the situation of mass import to the country of the goods without the necessary supervision for the import purposes that would cause tax payment evasion."
The People´s Deputies upheld the Bill adoption of which facilitates the formation of the favorable conditions of the further stable devloopment of the shipbuilding industry in Ukraine.
